Handle is turned of “Red Velvet” Spectra-Ply laminates. Spectra-Ply is made from thin strips of Baltic Birch that are dyed and glued together.

Flat bottom prevents scoop from tipping over. Long wearing chrome plating built to last.
Threaded handle allows you to remove the coffee scoop from the handle for cleaning, while keeping the handle dry.
Chrome Coffee scoop is washable and can get wet, NOT the wooden handle.
